
Alanna Masterson was born on June 27th 1988 in Long Island, New York to parents Carol Masterson and Joe Reaiche. Alanna has one full brother; Jordan Masterson, and three half-brothers; Danny Masterson, Will Masterson and Christopher Masterson. On November 4th, 2015, Alanna gave birth to her first daughter, Marlowe, the father being her boyfriend; Brick Stowell.

Alanna grew up in Los Angeles, California, and found her passion for acting through watching her brothers act on television throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. She would spend a lot of time on set watching them act and seeing the filming process. Alanna rose to fame when she was cast in The Walking Dead as Tara Chambler, during the fourth season. She was promoted to a series regular for the fifth season and has since been added to the main credits in the seventh season. This is not the first acting job Alanna had, however.

The first television role Alanna had was playing Colleen Carlton in The Young and Restless from 1994-1995, she was a main character. Alanna went on to appear as guest roles on several tv shows such as: Definitely Maybe, Malcolm in the Middle, Park It Up and Grey’s Anatomy. Alanna has also appeared as herself on Talking Dead and @midnight. She also was a main character, Zoe McCarthy in 2009’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Alanna has appeared in one film, 2011’s Peach Plum Pear as Dora Bell Hutchinson. Most recently, Alanna appeared as a recurring character in season 4 of Mistresses, playing Lydia.
